Whether you like to run, bike, swim or even all three (!) there are Durty events you can take part in and raise funds for the Anne Rowling Clinic.

Durty Events grew out of the first Durty Triathlon held in 2008. Based in the beautiful Scottish Borders, they believe in the transformative power of sport, helping turn personal goals into life-affirming experiences. 


Choose your fundraising challenge from the events below.

Running events (external website) 

5K, 10K, half marathons and more - take part in one or a series of events to suit you and put yourself to the test.  

Bike events (external website)  

On the 8th August 2026 take part in the Ultimate Gravel Adventure  
in the Scottish Borders, with short, medium and long courses.  

Triathlon Events (external website)  

Put your body to the ultimate test with a triathlon in 2026!  


JustGiving 

Once registered, set-up your JustGiving page at Anne Rowling Clinic JustGiving following the simple steps below: 

Step 1: Add your photo to let your friends and family know they’re at the right page 

Step 2: Use your story to let your supporters know why you’re fundraising 

Step 3: Set an ambitious fundraising target 

When creating your page, JustGiving will automatically generate a unique URL; it’s worthwhile changing this to something easy to remember. And please opt-in to receive communications and keep in touch with your chosen charity (that’s us) when completing your page.

We will be delighted to support you with your fundraising, whether it be giving advice onsetting up your online sponsorship page, supplying promotional materials, or creating social media assets for you. If you get in touch, you will receive: 

  • help setting up your JustGiving page 

  • printable sponsorship forms 

  • promotional assets for your social media channels 

  • a free branded t-shirt or running top and water bottle 

Whatever running event you chose to take part in, please make sure it is appropriate for your level of fitness. As well as being a challenge, it should also be doable and fun!
