Please do not send any patient-identifiable or confidential information to this email address. This includes information such as your date of birth, home address, medical history or medications. This is a University of Edinburgh email address, and the recipients do not have access to NHS Lothian systems.
We are not permitted to forward patient information to NHS Lothian consultants, nurses, or other healthcare professionals.
I am interested in a referral or medical opinion for someone who is not currently an Anne Rowling Clinic patient:
Thank you for your interest but we are unable to accept referrals directly. All referrals must come via your GP, neurologist or other clinician via the usual NHS Lothian route, so please contact your local healthcare team to discuss.
Most referrals will come from within NHS Lothian. We are sometimes able to accept referrals from other health boards in Scotland. We cannot accept referrals from elsewhere in the UK or abroad.
We are unable to provide a medical opinion via email; please do not send medical details to our University of Edinburgh email address as we are not permitted to respond.
We do not accept private patients; all our clinics are run through NHS Lothian.
