I develop and deliver high-throughput screening assays for accelerated drug discovery. Working with human brain cells; microglia, oligodendrocytes and astrocytes, assays are designed to model disease in a dish. Using industry standard robotics and imaging platforms, compound libraries are screened at scale and pace. Emerging from this screening are repurposed medicines or novel drug candidates; small molecules that reverse inflammatory and/or dysfunctional cell phenotypes.
