The FixIn MS pilot study is testing a new way to find out whether potential treatments can protect nerve cells and improve brain and body function in people with MS. It uses exercise-induced fatigability - how quickly someone becomes unusually tired during exercise - to help measure whether new treatments are working. The treatments being studied have already shown promising results.
The study has now finished recruiting participants, marking an important milestone. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has taken part.
The next step is to complete follow-up visits and analyse the results. What we learn from this pilot study will help shape the next phase of the clinical trial, ensuring it is as effective and participant-friendly as possible before more people are invited to take part.
