Lucy obtained a master’s degree in Applied Neuroscience from the University of Dundee with Distinction, following a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Hons) from the University of Strathclyde. Her academic research included studying influential factors, like dietary intake, on memory and attention issues which enhanced her interest in cognitive neuroscience in addition to neurological disorders.

Lucy joined the team in August 2023. Her role as a Graduate Research Practitioner involves supporting the Clinic's trial management team in the MND-SMART trial and FutureMS-2 project, and the Clinic's research team in study recruitment and assessments. Lucy is passionate about translational research to improve outcomes for people with neurodegenerative conditions, and looks forward to gaining further knowledge and skills to support this field.
