Georgia’s current research involves 3D computerized motion analysis in people with multiple sclerosis in various stages of their disease progress. In more detail, the effect of motor fatigability in highly active people with multiple sclerosis and also the effects of functional electrical stimulation on a variety of ecological valid conditions. Georgia’s aim is to motivate people with MS to be physically active and improve their quality of life.

Georgia studied Physiotherapy in Greece, completed her MSc in Human Movement Science at Vrije University in Amsterdam and completed her PhD with focus in foot drop and fatigability in people with MS at Queen Margaret University.
