Dr Gordon Duncan
Gordon Duncan is a consultant in Medicine for the Elderly at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh. He has a clinical and research interest in Parkinson's disease and associated disorders. He is working with colleagues in Edinburgh and Dundee to develop a clinical research programme which will give people with Parkinson's the opportunity to participate in clinical trials of new therapies.
Gordon studied medicine at the University of Dundee. He trained in Geriatric and General Medicine in Newcastle and North East of England. He obtained his PhD from Newcastle University and moved to Edinburgh in 2014 and currently holds an NRS Career Research Award and is an honorary clinical senior lecturer. He is the principal investigator for several clinical trials.
