Angus’s work is focussed on creating software within the research environment to improve patient engagement, patient care and data quality for diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and motor neurone disease (MND).
Angus studied computing science at the University of Glasgow and has 30 years software development experience. His development experience spans healthcare, mobile communications and computer networking sectors. Within the healthcare sector, he has developed software for diabetes (SCI-DC), respiratory (RespNET) and hospital patient management (ExtraMed) systems. Prior to joining the University of Edinburgh, Angus was clinical computing lead, developing software in Medical Physics at NHS Lothian.
